About The Position

The College of Southern Nevada (CSN) Libraries is seeking to hire part-time librarians to provide reference services in-person and online. This role operates within a culturally diverse and busy campus environment, serving a student population of approximately 18,000 FTE across its Charleston, North Las Vegas, and Henderson campuses, as well as through an online ask-a-librarian service. The librarians will offer student-centered research assistance and participate in the assessment of library services. Mentorship, training, and professional development opportunities, particularly in library instruction, assessment, and reference services, are available and encouraged.

Requirements

• Masters of Library Science or Master of Library and Information Science from an American Library Association accredited program, from a regionally accredited college or university.
• Professional and pedagogical commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion.
