About The Position

The School of Health Promotion and Human Performance invites applicants for part-time teaching opportunities in Sport Management for the Winter 2027 term. The primary professional responsibility is teaching. Lecturers are expected to develop and maintain their professional skills to ensure high-quality education for students. Teaching obligations may include meeting with students during and outside assigned classes, assessing student work and performance, preparing syllabi and course materials, providing those materials to a supervisor upon request, and assigning and submitting grades according to established Eastern Michigan University schedules. Related departmental duties may also be required.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in a related field.

• Doctorate degree in a related field.
• Teaching or field experience in Sport Management-related topics.

Responsibilities

• Teach Sport Management courses.
• Develop and maintain professional skills to ensure high-quality education for students.
• Meet with students during and outside assigned classes.
