About The Position

The CU Denver Business School is establishing a pool of lecturers for temporary, non-tenure-track appointments during the 2026–2027 academic year. Appointments are part-time, less than 50% FTE, and are made semester by semester as teaching needs arise. Lecturers teach Management courses at the undergraduate or graduate level, generally limited to three credit hours, using one or more modalities: in person, online-remote, or hybrid. Lecturers deliver instruction tailored to students from varied language and cultural backgrounds and aligned with prescribed curricular objectives and outcomes. They prepare balanced, rigorous lesson plans, assess student progress, and follow program policies and procedures, including reporting student offenses such as plagiarism, cheating, and absences. The role calls for effective teaching, mentoring, communication, leadership, independent planning, and commitment to equitable practices in an inclusive learning and working environment. Depending on course modality, the position may follow a hybrid work structure, with remote or office work based on task demands or employee preference. Office work is encouraged for tasks requiring substantial collaboration. Occasional evening or weekend work may be required. The position is not eligible for benefits, overtime compensation, or visa sponsorship. Compensation is $5,660 per three-credit undergraduate course or $6,135 per three-credit graduate course.
