About The Position

The College of Arts, Media and Design at Northeastern University is seeking part-time lecturers to teach undergraduate courses in the Department of Theatre during the 2026–2027 academic year. Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis, and courses are scheduled to start in September 2026. The rate starts at $2,085 per credit hour.

Northeastern University will not provide employment visa sponsorship for the successful applicant. The applicant must be able to maintain valid U.S. work authorization throughout the appointment without university visa sponsorship.

Requirements

• A Ph.D., M.F.A., or master’s degree and extensive professional experience are required.
• Must be able to maintain valid work authorization in the United States throughout the appointment without Northeastern University visa sponsorship.

Nice To Haves

• Previous college-level teaching experience is preferred.
• Experience teaching courses related to Fashion and Improv is encouraged.
