Part Time Lecturer - Theater
About The Position
The College of Arts, Media and Design is seeking part-time lecturers to teach undergraduate courses in the Department of Theatre during the 2026–2027 academic year. Courses are scheduled to start in September 2026, and applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis. The rate starts at $2,085 per credit hour. The successful applicant must maintain valid U.S. work authorization throughout the appointment without visa sponsorship from Northeastern University. Northeastern will not provide H-1B, TN, O-1, E-3, or other employment visa sponsorship for this position. Northeastern considers candidates’ work experience, education, and skills when extending an offer. Requirements
- A Ph.D., M.F.A., or master’s degree.
- Extensive professional experience.
- Ability to maintain valid work authorization in the United States throughout the appointment without Northeastern University visa sponsorship.
Nice To Haves
- Previous college-level teaching experience is preferred.
- Experience teaching courses related to Fashion and Improv is encouraged.
