About The Position

The College of Professional Studies at Northeastern University invites applications for a non-tenure-track, part-time faculty lecturer in Analytics on the Boston campus. The College teaches undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral students on campus and online in more than 90 programs. The Analytics program develops foundational skills for working professionals, including data preparation, regression, forecasting, optimization, data visualization, and data storytelling. Its experiential learning is closely linked to professional applications, preparing students for entry- and mid-level general analyst roles across professional domains. The successful candidate will teach students from global populations and contribute to a university community committed to teaching excellence and fostering belonging. Requirements

A master's degree in an aligned discipline.
Analytics-industry experience.
Demonstrated teaching, coaching, and/or training.
Ability to maintain valid U.S. work authorization throughout the appointment without Northeastern University sponsorship.

Nice To Haves

A PhD in a sciences field or similar.
A history of successful graduate-level teaching, online or on ground, is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

Teach in analytics instructional areas, including probability and statistics, data exploration, data visualization, and predictive analytics.
Work with global student populations.
Contribute to pedagogy and curriculum in ways that foster belonging in the university community.
