About The Position

The Department of Economics at California State University, San Bernardino (CSUSB) is seeking a part-time lecturer to teach lower- and upper-division economics courses. The ideal candidate will have a Master's or PhD in Economics from an accredited university at the time of employment. The lecturer will be responsible for conducting economics courses, holding office hours in accordance with university policy, and supporting the department's mission of student-centered learning in a diverse environment. CSUSB is a diverse institution serving approximately 19,000 students, with a strong commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion. Requirements

  • Master's or Ph.D in Economics from an accredited university at the time of employment.
  • Ability to teach at the Palm Desert or San Bernardino Campus.
  • Ability to be available for teaching.
  • Compliance with California Child Abuse and Neglect Reporting Act as a mandated reporter.
  • Satisfactory completion of a background check.

Responsibilities

  • Work effectively with faculty, staff, and students across a wide range of disciplines.
