Physics - Part-Time Lecturer Pool
About The Position
The Department of Physics at CSU Fullerton invites applications for its Part-Time Lecturer Pool. We are seeking experienced, well-organized, and student-centered individuals to teach in the following subject areas: Introductory Physics (Mechanics, Electricity and Magnetism, Modern Physics) and Upper Division Physics (Analytical Mechanics, Electrodynamics, Quantum Mechanics, Statistical Physics). This is a pool of part-time lecturers for the department to draw on as necessary. Qualified applicants will be contacted once the positions are available. Appointments from the part-time pool are temporary and often made just prior to the start of the academic term. Applicants must be available on very short notice.
Requirements
- A Masters/PhD degree in Physics or related field or equivalent experience.
Nice To Haves
- Prior teaching experience at the university level.
- Relevant performance and professional experience.
- Significant teaching experience in working with diverse populations and fostering a collaborative, supportive and inclusive environment.
Responsibilities
- Teach Introductory Physics (Mechanics, Electricity and Magnetism, Modern Physics)
- Teach Upper Division Physics (Analytical Mechanics, Electrodynamics, Quantum Mechanics, Statistical Physics)
