About The Position

The Department of Educational Leadership and Technology at California State University, San Bernardino (CSUSB) is seeking dynamic, equity-centered educators to join their part-time Lecturer Pool. Successful candidates will be responsible for delivering graduate-level instruction aligned with program standards, providing mentoring and coaching to students, and collaborating with university and community partners to support student success and continuous program improvement. CSUSB is a diverse institution committed to equity and inclusion, serving a large population of underrepresented, first-generation, and Pell-eligible students.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Educational Leadership, Instructional Technology, Career/Technology or a closely related field.
  • Valid California Credentials held are specific to positions in EADM (administrative services) and CTE (teaching credential) programs.
  • Minimum of 5 years of educational or related experience specific to the programs.
  • Evidence of effective teaching and/or mentoring of adult learners
  • Commitment to advancing diversity, equity, and inclusion in education
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills

Nice To Haves

  • Doctorate (Ed.D. or Ph.D.) in related fields specific to the program.
  • Experience teaching in a related graduate education program
  • Familiarity with Canvas or similar learning management systems
  • Experience supervising/mentoring educators
  • Bilingual proficiency (Spanish preferred)
  • Availability for evening and weekend instruction

Responsibilities

  • Teach assigned graduate-level courses aligned with program standards
  • Provide academic guidance and fieldwork coaching to program candidates
  • Support candidates in completing required program tasks and assessments
  • Assess and provide actionable feedback on student assignments
  • Collaborate with program faculty, fieldwork supervisors, and community partners
  • Participate in program events, candidate orientations, and required trainings
  • Use Canvas LMS and other technologies to support hybrid or online instruction
  • Uphold the mission and vision of the department
  • Model culturally responsive and equity-centered educational practices
