Department of Music - Part-Time Lecturer Pool
About The Position
California State University, San Bernardino (CSUSB) is seeking candidates for a Part-Time Lecturer Pool in the Department of Music. This position involves teaching lower-division and upper-division undergraduate courses, which are typically 1, 2, or 3 units and taught twice a week on campus during the Fall and Spring semesters. Instructors are responsible for preparing their own syllabi, assignments, classroom activities, lecture materials, and grading rubrics, adhering to department guidelines. Additionally, instructors will hold limited office hours to assist students with coursework. The role requires a commitment to excellence in teaching and mentoring a diverse student population, as well as effective collaboration with faculty, staff, and students. Duties include preparing teaching materials, conducting classes, and evaluating student work.
Requirements
- Master of Arts degree in Music, or a suitably related discipline.
- Degree in hand by time of appointment (MA in Music, or equivalent/suitably related discipline).
- Demonstration of teaching experience at a higher education level.

Responsibilities
- Prepare all materials for teaching assigned courses.
