About The Position
The Department of Health Science & Human Ecology at California State University, San Bernardino (CSUSB) is seeking qualified candidates to teach undergraduate courses in Health Science & Human Ecology. CSUSB is a diverse and inclusive institution serving approximately 19,000 students in Southern California. The successful candidate will be expected to demonstrate a commitment to excellence in teaching and mentoring a diverse student population, and to working effectively with faculty, staff, and students across a wide range of disciplines. This position is part-time and requires compliance with California Child Abuse and Neglect Reporting Act as a mandated reporter.
Requirements
- Earned Master’s degrees in Health Science or related area.
- In the case of teaching activities classes, a specialized certification may be acceptable.
- Commitment to excellence in teaching and mentoring a diverse student population.
- Ability to work effectively with faculty, staff, and students across a wide range of disciplines.
- Compliance with California Child Abuse and Neglect Reporting Act as a mandated reporter.
- Satisfactory completion of a background check.
Nice To Haves
- Evidence of scholarly activity, publication, and innovation is valued.
- Evidence of exemplary graduate-level teaching and leadership experience at program level is preferred.
