English, Comparative Literature & Linguistics - Part-Time Lecturer Pool
About The Position
The Department of English, Comparative Literature, and Linguistics at CSU Fullerton is seeking experienced, well-organized, and student-centered individuals to teach in various subject areas including Developmental Writing, Beginning and Advanced College Writing, Scientific and Technical Writing, Creative Writing, Introductory and Advanced Literature courses, Introductory and Advanced Linguistics courses. This is a pool of part-time lecturers from which the department will draw as needed. Qualified applicants will be contacted when positions become available. Appointments from this pool are temporary and often made just prior to the start of an academic term, requiring applicants to be available on very short notice.
Requirements
- At least a Master’s degree in a relevant field for introductory courses.
- A Ph.D. or extensive professional experience for teaching upper-division courses (300- or 400-level).
- Demonstrated ability to interact and work effectively with a wide and culturally diverse range of students, including first-generation college students.
