About The Position
The Electrical and Computer Engineering Department (ECE) of the University of Louisville’s J.B. Speed School of Engineering invites applications for part-time lecturer positions to teach undergraduate and/or graduate power systems courses. These courses may include, but are not limited to, Power System Analysis, Advanced Power Systems, and related topics in electric power engineering.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field.
Nice To Haves
- Substantial professional experience in electric power systems, including generation, transmission, distribution, or system reliability.
- Demonstrated ability to mentor, train, or teach students in technical settings.
- Industry experience with power system operations, analysis, protection, or project management.
- Strong interest in supporting student learning and professional development.
- Prior instructional, training, or supervisory experience.
Responsibilities
- Teach undergraduate and/or graduate power systems courses.
- Teach courses including, but not limited to, Power System Analysis, Advanced Power Systems, and related topics in electric power engineering.
