About The Position

The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at CSU Fullerton invites applications for its Part-Time Lecturer Pool. We are seeking experienced, well-organized, and student-centered individuals to teach in the subject area of Electrical and Computer Engineering. This is a pool of part-time lecturers for the department to draw on as necessary. Qualified applicants will be contacted when positions are available. Appointments from the part-time pool are temporary and often made just prior to the start of the academic term. Applicants must be available on very short notice.

Requirements

• Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field or equivalent experience in the appropriate field.
• Prior teaching experience at the university level.
• Ability to interact and work effectively with a wide and culturally diverse range of students, including first-generation college students.
• Ability to work effectively with the diverse faculty, staff, and student body of the College of Engineering and Computer Science.

Nice To Haves

• Ph.D. in Electrical or Computer Engineering.
• Significant teaching experience in working with diverse populations and fostering a collaborative, supportive and inclusive environment.
• Relevant performance and professional experience.
