Lecturer Pool - Electrical and Computer Engineering AY 2026/27
About The Position
The Department of Electrical & Computer Engineering at California State University San Marcos accepts applications on an ongoing basis for its pool of part-time lecturers. Applicant pools are used to fill short-term temporary Lecturer positions across the campus with the possibility of rehiring. Appointments may last from one day to a whole semester. This applicant pool may be used to fill vacant positions on an as-needed basis throughout the academic year. Applications in this pool are valid only for the current academic year and will close effective May 31st. To be considered for the next academic year, a new application must be submitted by June 15th.
Requirements
- A master's degree in electrical engineering or computer science, or a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or computer science with multiple years of engineering practice in the industry
- Per the California State University’s Out-of-State Employment Policy, the CSU is prohibited from hiring employees to perform CSU-related work outside California. Working in the State of California is a condition of employment.
