About The Position
The StFX University Faculty of Education, in partnership with StFX Online Learning & Professional Studies, invites applications for a Part-time Academic Instructor for the course Education 512: Play-Based Curriculum for Lifelong Learning. This course provides graduate students with a deep understanding of the research and practice of incorporating play in early elementary grades in public schools. Planning, assessing and enacting a play-based curriculum are key course outcomes.
Requirements
- PhD or MEd with significant experience in play-based curriculum for early elementary grades.
- Ability to teach online.
- Attach a cover letter, curriculum vitae/resume, and the names of three references.
Responsibilities
- Teach graduate students about the research and practice of incorporating play in early elementary grades.
- Guide students in planning, assessing, and enacting a play-based curriculum.
