About The Position

Holy Cross College is seeking an Instructor for College Curriculum to teach a 4/4 load each semester in various courses within the College Curriculum. This is a 9-month, full-time faculty, term appointment at the rank of Instructor. The role involves teaching courses such as Mind and Heart, College Seminar, Common Good, Moreau Seminar, and Capstone Seminar. The instructor will also participate in college curriculum planning meetings, contribute to the development of the revised Moreau Seminar and Capstone for Fall 2027, and engage in the life of the College by serving on administrative committees and attending important events. Requirements

• Master’s degree required.
• Ability to work effectively with a diverse student population.

Nice To Haves

• Previous college teaching experience preferred.
• Positive work experience in a Catholic college environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Moreau Seminar and Capstone Seminar Director and Instructor (3-Fall/3-Spring)
• Mind and Heart Seminar (1-Fall) /College Seminar or Common Good Seminar (1-Spring)
• Participation in College Curriculum Planning Meetings for Development of the revised Moreau Seminar and Capstone for Fall 2027.
• Participate in the life of the College by serving on administrative committees and attending important events, such as Welcome Weekend, Faculty-Staff Convocation, Constitution Day, Honors Convocation, Baccalaureate Mass, and Commencement.
• Other responsibilities may be assigned to meet the needs of the Department and College.
