PART TIME INSTRUCTOR POOL - MATHEMATICS
About The Position
The Grossmont-Cuyamaca Community College District seeks part-time faculty in Mathematics. Under administrative leadership, part-time faculty support the visions, missions, and values of the colleges and District. Responsibilities relate to classroom assignments, student evaluation, curriculum, student advising, professional development, and other assignment-specific needs. Work hours vary based on assignment. Faculty positions may require long periods of standing and walking in a typical classroom setting; specific conditions may vary by subject taught. Applications are retained in the pool for one year, and applicants may be contacted for interviews as needed.
Requirements
- Master's degree in mathematics or applied mathematics; or a bachelor's degree in mathematics or applied mathematics and a master's degree in statistics, physics, or mathematics education; or the equivalent.
- Applicants claiming equivalency must submit an Equivalency Determination Form and supporting equivalency materials.

- Carry out responsibilities related to classroom assignments.
- Evaluate students.
- Contribute to curriculum responsibilities.
- Provide student advising.
- Participate in professional development.
