About The Position
The Department of Teacher Education and StFX Online Learning & Professional Studies invites applications for a Part-time Academic Instructor for the course EDUC 415, Integration of Curriculum. This course provides an understanding of the content of the elementary school curriculum and of the potential for the integration of elementary subjects into language arts and mathematics, and the development of a rationale and strategies for teaching an integrated approach. The course will run from January 8, 2027, to February 6, 2027, subject to final budgetary approval. The class schedule is to be determined. The delivery mode is in person (Unama'ki) and online.
Requirements
- Background understanding and knowledge of working within MK schools
- Recognized as exceptional educators in their past teaching experience
- A PhD or MEd (or equivalent) with extensive teaching experience
- Leaders in their fields
Nice To Haves
- Mi’kmaw speakers or those who have an understanding of/ some fluency with the language
