About The Position
The Department of Teacher Education and StFX Online Learning & Professional Studies invites applications for a Part-time Academic Instructor for the course EDUC 416, Curriculum and Instruction in Elementary Social Studies. This course is a review of the social studies programs used in elementary school, with emphasis on the development of skills, methods, and approaches involved in teaching these programs. The course will be delivered in person in Unama'ki and online.
Requirements
- Background understanding and knowledge of working within MK schools
- Recognized as exceptional educators in their past teaching experience
- A PhD or MEd (or equivalent) with extensive teaching experience
- Leaders in their fields
Nice To Haves
- Mi’kmaw speakers or those who have an understanding of/ some fluency with the language
