About The Position

This is a part-time hourly position on the 1st shift, with a starting rate of $16.75. The start time for this position is 4:30 AM. Applicants will be considered for any general labor type opening on the 1st (DAY) shift only. This role requires a minimum of 10 hours and a maximum of 30 hours per week. Part-Time Workers are REQUIRED to work on Monday and Thursday. Applicants will be considered for openings in any class 1 position in pack-out departments.

Requirements

Ability to work a minimum of 10 hours and a maximum of 30 hours per week.
Must work the 1st day of the week (Monday) and the last day of the week (Thursday).
Ability to perform physical requirements of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.
Must be able to work with others in order to adhere to Tyson's safety culture.
If previously employed at Tyson, must have a 180-day waiting period before reapplying.
Applicants who have worked for Tyson Foods 3 or more times are not eligible for rehire.

Responsibilities

Standing, walking, bending, stretching, climbing, pushing, pulling, gripping, and reaching.
Repetitive wrist, elbow, and shoulder movements.
Lifting 40 to 70 pounds (in some positions).
Working in a cold, damp, hot, and humid environment with slippery surfaces.
Working with others to adhere to Tyson's safety culture.
