About The Position

This position is responsible for performing a wide variety of skilled and semi-skilled building maintenance, repair, and landscaping tasks while maintaining a safe work environment and following Tyson policies and procedures. The role is based in Broken Bow, Oklahoma, and is scheduled for 36 hours per week, five days per week, Sunday through Thursday, on first shift. The Groundskeeper Laborer maintains the cleanliness and appearance of facility grounds and surrounding property. Duties include lawn and landscape care, grounds cleanup, assisting with planting and upkeep of trees and flower beds, operating and maintaining landscaping equipment, and performing basic outdoor maintenance. The role also assists with weather-related cleanup and reports safety concerns, property damage, or equipment issues to supervisors. Pay is $17.15 per hour.

Requirements

Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, and humidity.
Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, and perform physical labor for extended periods.
Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds or more as required.
Ability to safely operate landscaping and grounds maintenance equipment.
Strong attention to safety and detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Reliable attendance and flexibility to work varying schedules when needed.
Must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job, with or without a reasonable accommodation.

Responsibilities

Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of facility grounds and surrounding property.
Mow, trim, edge, and maintain lawns, landscaping, and grassy areas.
Remove trash, debris, weeds, leaves, and other materials from grounds and parking areas.
Assist with planting, watering, pruning, and maintaining trees, shrubs, and flower beds.
Operate and maintain landscaping equipment, including mowers, trimmers, blowers, and utility vehicles.
Perform basic outdoor maintenance, including fence repairs, painting, and upkeep of walkways and common areas.
Assist with snow, ice, storm, or weather-related cleanup as needed.
Report safety concerns, damaged property, or equipment issues to supervisors.
Follow company safety policies and procedures and adhere to Tyson policies and procedures.
Perform other duties as assigned by management.
