About The Position
Applicants will be considered for any general labor type opening on the 1st (DAY) shift only. This part-time position requires a minimum of 10 hours and a maximum of 30 hours per week. Part-Time Workers are REQUIRED to work the 1st day of the week (Monday) and the last day of the week (Thursday). Applicants will be considered for openings in any class 1 position in pack-out departments. The start time for this position is 4:30 AM.
Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, stretch, climb, push, pull, grip, and reach.
- Ability to perform repetitive wrist, elbow, and shoulder movements.
- Ability to lift 40 to 70 pounds (for some positions).
- Ability to work in a cold, damp, hot, and humid environment with slippery surfaces.
- Must be able to work with others.
- Must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.
- If previously employed at Tyson, must have passed the 180-day waiting period.
- Applicants who have worked for Tyson Foods 3 or more times are not eligible for rehire.
