Part-Time Faculty - Modern Language (Generation Park)
About The Position
Part-time faculty teach modern languages and related coursework at Generation Park. Applications are accepted continuously and reviewed when openings become available; these positions are not current vacancies. Faculty are hired on an as-needed basis and work for the duration specified by the course. Teaching assignments may include evening and possibly weekend classes. Courses are assigned using various delivery methods based on the teaching area and the needs of students and the College; some assignments may require a physical presence at the assigned on-site work location. Part-time faculty are not entitled to all rights, privileges, and benefits of regular, full-time employees. Salary is based on the Board-approved salary schedule for the current fiscal year.
Requirements
- Master's degree or above in English and one other language.
- At least 18 graduate hours of content courses in the teaching field.
- Bilingual proficiency is required.
Nice To Haves
- Qualifications to teach two languages, or English and one language with 18 graduate hours in each, are considered a plus.
- Prior college teaching experience is preferred.
