About The Position

Prairie North Co-op is seeking a Part-Time Deli Clerk for their Melfort Food Store. This role involves providing excellent customer service, preparing and stocking deli products, maintaining meat displays, ensuring equipment is properly maintained and clean, adhering to sanitation and hygiene policies, managing inventory replenishment, and following company policies and procedures. Other duties may be assigned.

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding courteous customer service.
• Prepare, wrap, price and stock product as required and assigned.
• Maintain and display all types of meat products according to standards.
• Provide proper maintenance of equipment, monitor case temperatures and clean equipment regularly.
• Be familiar with and adhere to all sanitation and personal hygiene policies of the Co-operative and Government legislation.
• Advise the manager when orders for replenishment of inventory is required and to keep proper mark-down reports.
• Be familiar with and adhere to Prairie North Co-op policies and procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.
