Swan Valley Co-op is hiring a part-time Deli Clerk at our Food Store in Swan River, MB. Co-op does business differently. Requirements

Applicable training or experience.
Strongly service oriented, motivated, and capable of serving customers in a courteous, efficient manner.
Capability to operate the required equipment within the Deli.
Honest and trustworthy, results-oriented and strive to be the best in what you do.
Believe in building relationships and collaborating to deliver work that best meets our team and customers’ needs.

Responsibilities

Maintain sections of merchandise (luncheon meat, cheese, home meal replacement, hot food, bulk product, packaged product) as assigned in an effective manner.
Fry chicken and prepare fresh value-added product and home meal replacement items as per established Co-op recipes and procedures.
Ensure the Deli Department is properly stocked with merchandise and faced at all times.
Provide customer service in line with the Co-op brand.
Observe and maintain sanitation standards and practices, maintain tools and equipment, and keep work area clean and neat.
Assist with other duties as assigned.
