Parks & Recreation - Part-Time
About The Position
The Danville-Boyle County Parks and Recreation Department is hiring for a broad range of part-time and seasonal positions for fall and spring sport seasons. These positions support the administration of sports and recreation programs and the operational functions of the department, including maintenance of departmental facilities. Available roles include referees, umpires, front desk receptionists, dance instructors, fitness instructors, tennis instructors, scorekeepers, grounds maintenance workers, lifeguards, concession staff, facilities supervisors, and additional coordinator, manager, coaching, and camp positions.
Requirements
- Prior parks and recreation or athletic experience is preferred but not required.
- Lifeguard applicants must have certifications.
- Referee and umpire candidates must know the rules and regulations for basketball, baseball, softball, and T-ball programs.
