About The Position

This is an announcement for a Part Time Temporary Parks Maintenance Worker position within the Recreation Services department. The role is non-exempt and eligible for overtime compensation. The pay range is $19.00 per hour. The deadline to apply is 07/31/2026. This position is considered "Safety Sensitive" and requires a post-offer, pre-employment background screening including drug screening, motor vehicle records check, and criminal background screening.

Requirements

• Must be at least 17 years old at the time of hire
• Possess a valid Arizona driver's license
• Must be able to perform physical work outdoors under all weather conditions
• Evening, weekend and holiday work may be required depending on special events
• Ability to clearly, concisely and effectively communicate in person and over the telephone
• Ability to effectively and safely perform required duties and to safely operate required equipment and city vehicle as needed

Responsibilities

• Performs a variety of unskilled and semi-skilled tasks including maintenance of all park facilities
• Janitorial duties
• Restroom cleaning is a must

• Special events preparation
• Other duties as required
