About The Position

Southern Valet, powered by Propark, is hiring reliable, energetic attendants for hotel valet operations in downtown Greenville, South Carolina. The role involves greeting guests, safely parking and retrieving vehicles, explaining parking rates and vehicle retrieval instructions, and inspecting vehicles before taking possession. Attendants maintain a professional company appearance, help resolve guest issues, and perform other duties based on operational needs.

The position is active and primarily outdoors, with much of the day spent standing and walking and occasional running or carrying items weighing up to 50 pounds. Available shifts include 6:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m., 12:00 p.m.–8:00 p.m., and 3:00 p.m.–11:00 p.m. The posting offers full-time and part-time schedules.

Requirements

• Be at least 21 years old.
• Have a valid driver's license and at least two years of driving experience.
• Be energetic and outgoing, and be able to stand, run, and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds if needed.
• Communicate well in written and spoken language and interact with others in a friendly, professional manner.
• Thrive in a fast-paced environment and help resolve customer issues positively.

Nice To Haves

• At least two years of valet parking experience.
• At least two years of customer service experience.
• At least two years of manual transmission driving experience.

Responsibilities

• Cheerfully greet guests and sincerely thank them when they leave.
• Park and retrieve guest vehicles safely and promptly.
• Explain parking rates and provide instructions for retrieving self-park vehicles.
• Inspect each vehicle before taking possession and follow company guidelines.
• Maintain the company uniform appearance and provide friendly, professional guest service.
• Resolve customer issues in a positive and helpful manner.
• Perform other duties as assigned based on operational needs.
