About The Position

The Parking Supervisor is generally responsible for supervising parking staff for events in the Downtown New Orleans area. This position reports to the Parking Manager. This role pays an hourly rate between $20.00-$22.00.

Requirements

High school education or equivalent.
Must be able to legally operate vehicles.
Core customer communication skills.
Ability to work effectively as a team player.
Must have flexibility to work shifts on weekdays, weekday evenings, weekends, early mornings, and late nights and outdoors in all weather conditions.

Nice To Haves

Previous supervisory experience preferred.
2-3+ years of previous experience in event operations or parking operations is preferred.
Experience working in the customer service industry is a plus.

Responsibilities

Maintain core values while working on property.
Inspect parking lots several times throughout the day.
Ensure safe and efficient traffic patterns for all guests.
Assist manager with event day operations of parking lots and traffic flow.
Assist Manager with enforcement of employee parking program.
Ensure event day checklists are followed & completed for the entirety of the event.
Ensure the campus is set up and lots are ready for the event.
Report traffic incidents in lots to the manager.
Perform traffic material/supply inventory along with our parking operations.
Perform inventory management.
Assist Manager by gathering information to respond to guest inquiries and investigate complaints / concerns.
Assisting with the continuous evaluation and adjustment of the pedestrian and vehicle wayfinding signage program.
