This individual would ideally be located in one of WGI’s office locations: Dallas, TX, Indianapolis, IN or Charlotte, NC office. In this position, you will support parking and mobility projects for public and private clients throughout the United States. Assignments may include parking studies, data collection and analysis, parking operations assessments, technology evaluations, parking facility planning, parking facility restoration support, functional design efforts, and implementation planning. This position is ideal for a highly motivated individual who enjoys analytical problem-solving, field work, research, and a variety of project types. The successful candidate will have strong attention to detail, initiative, and a desire to learn within the dynamic parking and mobility industry.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in urban planning, civil engineering, or architecture with a focus in infrastructure or urban design or related field preferred.
  • This role is entry level.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills are required.
  • Candidates should have a demonstrated ability to work both independently and in a team environment to execute geospatial workflows.
  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis. We are unable to sponsor or take over the sponsorship of employment visas

Responsibilities

  • Conduct parking utilization counts, occupancy studies, inventory audits, and field observations.
  • Collect, organize, and analyze parking and mobility data.
  • Assist with parking demand analyses, operational assessments, and planning studies.
  • Research zoning requirements, parking regulations, and industry practices under the guidance of senior staff.
  • Prepare reports, technical memoranda, spreadsheets, graphics, and presentations.
  • Assist with development of parking recommendations and implementation strategies.
  • Support parking technology, mobility, and parking restoration projects.
  • Assist with preparation of proposals, cost estimates, and project deliverables.
  • Coordinate with planners, engineers, architects, and parking consultants on multidisciplinary projects.
  • Travel periodically to project sites for field work and stakeholder meetings.
