About The Position

The Parking Manager plays a critical role in creating a positive first impression for guests and ensuring the smooth operation of daily resort and offsite parking logistics. This position is highly visible and guest-facing, requiring individuals who are self-motivated, punctual, well-organized, and equipped with strong people and problem-solving skills.

Requirements

Must possess a valid and insurable Washington State Driver's License.
Must enjoy working with the public and have excellent interpersonal skills.
A positive attitude and clear communication are required when working with guests and staff.
Willingness to take direction and assist with other duties as needed during peak periods.
Ability to think quickly and assist guests with unexpected issues or requests.
Candidates must be at least 21 years old and able to perform physical outdoor tasks in various weather conditions.
A valid driver's license is required and candidates must be eligible to be insured if operating company vehicles.
This position requires extended periods of standing, walking, shoveling snow, and lifting or moving equipment in cold and variable weather.
Physical stamina, situational awareness, and the ability to communicate clearly with both guests and team members are essential to this role.
Must be able to read reports and use computer.
Must be able to hear well enough to communicate with coworkers.
Consistent and constant standing and walking while in operation.
The position requires the ability to stand, walk, climb, balance, kneel, stoop, and crouch for extended periods.
Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
Must be able to write, type, and use phone system.

Nice To Haves

CDL recommended
Heavy equipment knowledge preferred.
Previous experience in heavy equipment use, customer service, traffic control, or similar outdoor operational roles is beneficial but not required.

Responsibilities

Interview, hire, train and supervise all parking and shuttle staff.
Maintain staff schedules to meet operational demands, while ensuring a high level of guest service.
Develop and adjust departmental budgets to meet operational needs.
Garbage collection, recycling, building and grounds snow removal, and general housekeeping.
Shovel snow and operate snow blowers and sanders as conditions require.
Ensure parking crew sets up cones and sand parking areas daily based on conditions.
Safely maximize parking lot capacity, especially on peak days, and direct vehicles to designated areas.
Help guests with minor vehicle issues, locked vehicles, dead batteries, loading/unloading gear, and navigating the parking area.
Maintain safe and accessible loading/unloading zones at all times.
Monitor and mitigate hazards or risks that affect guest or employee safety.
Greet and host guests as they arrive, offering assistance and directions.
Assist with the loading and unloading of LINK buses, school buses, and charter buses.
Must wear appropriate clothing for cold weather; a uniform jacket is provided by Mission Ridge.
