About The Position

As an entry-level Meijer Courtesy Team Member, you will perform a variety of retail support tasks related to store services, products, and customer service. Courtesy Team Members interact with customers and provide above-and-beyond service. The role supports the service desk, store entrance, check lanes, parking lot, and multiple store departments. The job profile is not all-inclusive, and other duties may be assigned or required.

Requirements

Be highly organized with a keen sense for details.
Have strong listening and communication skills.
Be able to lift, carry, push, pull, bend, and twist while handling products or using equipment.
Be able to perform effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Ferry shopping carts from outside the store back to the store interior.
Coordinate and collect trash from the parking lot, lawn, and inside the store.
Safely use snow-removal equipment to remove snow.
Handle perishable and salvage returns.
Perform basic store and restroom cleaning.
Work with the service desk, store entrance, check lanes, and parking lot areas.
Work with Health and Beauty Care, Hardlines, Fashion/Softlines, Pets, Hardware, Card and Party, Outdoor, Seasonal, and Floral departments.
Perform other duties as assigned or required.
