About The Position

Park Inc. is hiring a part-time Parking Attendant Ambassador based primarily at Midtown Parking Garage in Blacksburg, Virginia, with fill-in shifts at Kent Square Garage. The role averages approximately 4–6 hours per week, with additional hours on Virginia Tech home football game days and during other local events and peak periods. The attendant helps keep the garage clean and welcoming, enforces parking regulations and writes citations, supports guests, and covers shifts at the alternate garage. The job offers flexible scheduling and potential for growth as the company expands.

Requirements

Must be available to work all day for every Virginia Tech home football game.
Friendly, professional customer-service skills and ability to handle guest concerns effectively.
Clear and courteous communication with guests and team members.
Ability to stand for extended periods and walk, bend, kneel, or climb if needed.
Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions, including rain, snow, heat, and cold.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Neat and presentable appearance.
Punctuality and a stable work history.
Able to work between Midtown and Kent Square locations and take on extra event hours as needed.

Responsibilities

Keep the Midtown garage clean, orderly, and welcoming for locals and visitors.
Help enforce parking regulations, including writing citations.
Cover shifts at Kent Square Garage when other team members are unavailable.
Work all day during Virginia Tech home football games, managing parking activity for fans.
Support operations during other local events and peak periods as needed.
Respond to guest concerns in a friendly and professional manner.
Represent Park Inc. with a professional appearance and positive attitude.
