About The Position
Meijer is seeking an entry-level Courtesy Team Member to support retail services and provide above-and-beyond customer service. The role involves maintaining shopping cart availability, keeping store and outdoor areas clean, assisting with snow removal, and coordinating with the service desk, store entrance, check lanes, parking lot, and several store departments. Other duties may be assigned or required.
Requirements
- Be highly organized and detail-oriented.
- Have strong listening and communication skills.
- Be able to lift, carry, push, pull, bend, and twist while handling products or using equipment.
- Be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Ferry shopping carts from outside the store back to the store interior.
- Collect trash from the parking lot, lawn, and inside the store.
- Safely use snow-removal equipment to remove snow.
- Handle perishable and salvage returns.
- Perform basic store and restroom cleaning.
- Work with the service desk, store entrance, check lanes, and parking lot areas.
- Work with the Health and Beauty Care, Hardlines, Fashion/Softlines, Pets, Hardware, Card and Party, Outdoor, Seasonal, and Floral departments.
- Perform other duties as assigned or required.
