About The Position

As an entry-level Meijer Courtesy Team Member, the Parking Lot Attendant supports store services, product handling, and customer service. The role includes returning carts to the store, collecting trash, removing snow, handling perishable and salvage returns, and performing basic store and restroom cleaning. Team members work with the service desk, store entrance, check lanes, parking lot, and multiple store departments. Other duties may be assigned or required.

Requirements

• Highly organized with a keen sense for details.
• Strong listening and communication skills.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, pull, bend, and twist while handling products or using equipment.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Ferry shopping carts from outside the store back to the store interior.
• Coordinate and collect trash from the parking lot, lawn, and inside the store.
• Safely use snow-removal equipment to remove snow.
• Handle perishable and salvage returns.
• Perform basic store and restroom cleaning.
• Work with the service desk, store entrance, check lanes, and parking lot areas.
• Work with Health and Beauty Care, Hardlines, Fashion/Softlines, Pets, Hardware, Card and Party, Outdoor, Seasonal, and Floral departments.
• Perform other duties as assigned or required.
