About The Position

As an entry-level member of Meijer’s Courtesy Team, the Parking Lot Attendant supports additional store services, products, and customer service. The role involves interacting with customers and providing service that goes above and beyond. Duties may include other work as assigned or required.

Requirements

• Be highly organized and detail-oriented.
• Have strong listening and communication skills.
• Be able to lift, carry, push, pull, bend, and twist while handling products or using equipment.
• Be able to perform effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Ferry shopping carts from outside the store to the store interior.
• Collect and coordinate removal of trash from the parking lot, lawn, and inside the store.
• Safely use snow-removal equipment to remove snow.
• Handle perishable and salvage returns.
• Perform basic store and restroom cleaning.
• Work with the service desk, store entrance, check lanes, and parking lot areas.
• Work with Health and Beauty Care, Hardlines, Fashion/Softlines, Pets, Hardware, Card and Party, Outdoor, Seasonal, and Floral departments.
• Perform other duties as assigned or required.
