About The Position

Under the supervision of the Transportation Shift Manager, the incumbent is responsible for the cleanliness, upkeep and maintenance of the valet and self-parking lots and garages including the man lift areas, stairways, parking gates, kiosks, signs, traffic cones and mirrors. All mechanical equipment malfunctions and worn traffic control identifications associated with all parking areas and traffic patterns interior and exterior shall be reported to management.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• One (1) year of related experience
• Valid driver's license
• Ability to provide a state DMV driving history report
• Ability to operate company vehicles
• Basic mechanical skills
• Ability to learn how to operate a tow truck
• Ability to routinely walk, frequently reach, bend, and squat
• Ability to climb ladders and stairs
• Ability to handle weights of up to 80 pounds
• Acceptable vision, hearing, and dexterity to safely operate vehicles
• Ability to attend and pass required safety classes
• Ability to work outdoors in both hot and cold weather

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness, upkeep, and maintenance of valet and self-parking lots and garages.
• Ensure man lift areas, stairways, parking gates, kiosks, signs, traffic cones, and mirrors are clean and in good condition.
• Report all mechanical equipment malfunctions and worn traffic control identifications to management.
• Direct movement of vehicular traffic at entrances, intersections, and through construction sites.
