About The Position

As a Park Area Ambassador at Sesame Place, you will help create enjoyable and lasting memories for guests by providing exemplary guest service and helping maintain a clean, safe park environment. You will work as part of a team, demonstrating a positive attitude, high energy, and a strong commitment to quality. The role involves interacting with guests, answering questions and concerns, assisting with cleanliness in assigned park areas, and promptly reporting maintenance concerns to leadership. The position requires extensive walking and standing throughout the work shift, varied physical activities, and cleaning duties that include using cleaning chemicals. Ambassadors must be able to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather, including extreme heat and cold, and be flexible about work locations based on business needs. Availability must be flexible and consistent, including nights, weekends, and holidays, in accordance with the Holiday and Availability agreement. Ambassadors must follow SEA grooming guidelines and employment standards, practice safe work habits, use required personal protective equipment, report unsafe situations, and complete required legal, company, and department training on time.

Requirements

Must be at least 15 years of age.

Flexibility to perform varied duties and work locations based on business needs.
Ability to initiate conversations with guests.
Ability to lift, push, pull, and/or carry up to 50 lbs.
Ability to perform extensive walking and standing throughout the entire work shift.
Ability to kneel, squat, bend from floor to waist and waist to overhead, reach overhead, and perform simple grasping and fine hand manipulation tasks, including using tools, a keyboard, or writing.
Must be willing to comply with SEA grooming guidelines and employment standards.
Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather, including extreme heat and cold.
Must provide flexible, consistent availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays, and adhere to the Holiday and Availability agreement.

Responsibilities

Interact with others in a positive, professional manner.
Provide exceptional guest service by answering questions and addressing concerns.
Assist with maintaining cleanliness in assigned areas, including grounds, mulch beds, benches, tables, smoke outposts, picnic areas, and parking lots.
Report maintenance concerns to leadership in a timely manner.
Help promote and ensure a safe and secure environment.
Perform cleaning duties, including using cleaning chemicals.
Practice safe work habits, use personal protective equipment, and report unsafe situations.
Complete legal, company, and department training requirements within established timelines.
