About The Position

As a Parents as Teachers Program Manager, you will lead our early childhood and family support initiatives, ensuring strict adherence to the evidence-based Parents as Teachers model. You will be instrumental in guiding a dedicated team, managing program funds, and fostering strong community networks. Every day, you will manage all aspects of the Parents as Teachers Program Manager, including program implementation, budget management, and data collection. Supervise a team of Family Service Workers, providing ongoing training, mentoring, and regular performance evaluations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in social work, child development, or a related human services
• Two years or more of supervisory experience in a social services environment.
• Successful experience working with families, children, and/or parents, and knowledge of early childhood education best practices.
• Knowledge of community-based service programs.
• Demonstrated supervisory experience.
• AHA BLS is required within 90 days of hire.
• LA County Fire Card upon hire. (within 90 days of hire.)
• Valid CA Driver’s License, acceptable driving record and valid car insurance.

Nice To Haves

• Home visiting experience preferred.
• Bilingual in English/Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with community partners (including schools and healthcare providers) by participating in outreach activities and representing the program at community meetings.
• Maintain accurate grant documentation, ensure adherence to program guidelines, and submit timely reports to the granting agency.
• Manage program budgets and resources effectively, maximizing impact while adhering to grant requirements.
• Collaborate closely with community organizations to ensure seamless, holistic service delivery for participating families.
• Conduct regular staff meetings, maintain accurate records, and participate actively in all grant-related meetings and activities.
