About The Position
Under direct supervision, this role involves recruiting, training, and supporting parents in teaching their preschool-aged children cognitive and literacy strategies. The work is conducted both at home and in school settings as part of the HIPPY (Home Instruction for Parents of Preschool Youngsters) program and curriculum.
Requirements
- Ability to recruit parents.
- Ability to train parents.
- Ability to support parents.
- Familiarity with teaching cognitive and literacy strategies.
- Experience with preschool-aged children.
- Willingness to work in home-based and school-based settings.
- Understanding of the HIPPY program and curriculum.
