About The Position

Metro Paramedic Services, Inc., a subsidiary of Superior Air-Ground Ambulance Services, Inc., contracts with local municipalities to provide emergency medical services, rescue, and/or fire services. The company is seeking a full-time Paramedic for its Exxon Industrial contract, working 12-hour shifts. The Paramedic provides medical care and patient transportation at the Paramedic/Firefighter (EMT-P) level, within the scope of practice stipulated by the Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH) and/or EMS Commission of Illinois.

Requirements

• Paramedic license.
• At least 1 year of experience.
• CPR certification.
• At least 21 years of age.
• Valid Illinois driver's license.
• Successfully complete a pre-employment physical, drug screen, and background check.

Responsibilities

• Provide medical care to patients at the Paramedic/Firefighter (EMT-P) level within the applicable scope of practice.
• Transport patients.
