About The Position
Metro Paramedic Services, Inc., a subsidiary of Superior Air-Ground Ambulance Services, Inc., contracts with local municipalities to provide Emergency Medical Services, Rescue and/or Fire Services. The company is seeking a part-time Paramedic for its Exxon Industrial contract, working 12-hour shifts. The Paramedic provides medical care and transportation for patients at the Paramedic/Firefighter (EMT-P) level, within the scope of practice stipulated by the Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH) and/or EMS Commission of Illinois.
Requirements
- Paramedic license.
- At least 1 year of experience.
- CPR certification.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Valid Illinois Driver's License.
- Successfully complete a pre-employment physical, drug screen, and background check.
Nice To Haves
- ACLS (Metro will train).
- PALS (Metro will train).
Responsibilities
- Provide medical care to patients at the Paramedic/Firefighter (EMT-P) level within the applicable scope of practice.
- Provide patient transportation.
