About The Position

Metro Paramedic Services, Inc., a subsidiary of Superior Air-Ground Ambulance Services, Inc., contracts with local municipalities to provide Emergency Medical Services, Rescue, and/or Fire Services. The company is seeking a part-time Paramedic for its Exxon Industrial contract, working 12-hour shifts. The Paramedic provides medical care and patient transportation at the Paramedic/Firefighter (EMT-P) level, within the scope of practice stipulated by the Illinois Department of Public Health and/or EMS Commission of Illinois. The wage is USD $30.17 per hour.

Requirements

• Paramedic license.
• One year of experience.
• CPR certification.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Valid Illinois Driver's License.
• Successfully complete a pre-employment physical, drug screen, and background check.

Nice To Haves

• ACLS certification; Metro will provide training.
• PALS certification; Metro will provide training.

Responsibilities

• Provide medical care to patients at the Paramedic/Firefighter (EMT-P) level within the applicable scope of practice.
