About The Position

The Transfer-Only Paramedic provides high-quality, compassionate, and safe medical care during interfacility, hospital-to-hospital, and specialized medical transports originating from St. Vincent’s Medical Center in Bridgeport, Connecticut. The role focuses exclusively on non-emergent and scheduled patient transfers, supporting continuity of care while collaborating with hospital staff, EMS partners, and receiving facilities. American Ambulance Service, Inc. is part of the Hartford HealthCare EMS Network, a multidisciplinary EMS system that includes licensed EMS agencies, hospital-based paramedic response resources, air-medical response resources, education and research, and hospital-based coordinators and medical directors. Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Valid Connecticut driver’s license.
Valid State of Connecticut Paramedic License.
Valid Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider CPR certification.
Valid Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification.
Valid Pediatric Advanced Life Support certification.

Responsibilities
