Transfers-Holds Associate
About The Position
MAC.BID buys truckloads of customer returns and overstock products and sells the items individually to the public through online auctions. The Transfers Team serves customers who pick up merchandise from warehouses outside their home location. The Transfers-Holds Associate transfers products in and out, handles and shelves products, and helps maintain safe, efficient, and clean warehouse operations. This is a full-time, hourly, non-exempt position that works on-site Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with 8-hour shifts and a 30-minute lunch break. The position reports to the Transfers or Removal Team Lead.
Requirements
- Available to work on-site Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., on 8-hour shifts with a 30-minute lunch break.
- Able to lift 25 pounds alone and 50 pounds with a team lift.
- Able to follow written directions and company policies.
- Tech-savvy.
- Highly organized.
- Detail-oriented.
- Customer-focused.
Nice To Haves
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Responsibilities
- Transfer product in and out using a scanner and proprietary software.
- Pull product off the shelves.
- Place product in the appropriate location on the shelves.
- Move pallet jacks and other items to maintain safe and efficient warehouse flow.
- Keep the area clean.
- Perform other tasks as assigned by management.
