About The Position

HealthCARE Express is seeking a dependable, flexible PRN Float Paramedic to provide clinical coverage at urgent care clinics in the Oklahoma City metro area. The role floats among the Midwest City, Moore, and Choctaw clinics according to staffing and coverage needs. Hours and assigned locations vary based on clinic needs, and the paramedic must be willing to travel between all three locations. Shifts are primarily 12 hours, from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM; Saturday coverage may be needed from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Pay is $26.00 per hour.

Working alongside providers and clinical teams, the Float Paramedic delivers compassionate, efficient patient care and supports patient flow and daily clinic operations. The position is suited to someone who enjoys variety, collaborates effectively with different teams, and wants to use clinical skills in an urgent care setting.

Requirements

• Current Oklahoma Paramedic license.
• Strong communication, organization, and multitasking skills.
• Ability to adapt quickly and work effectively with different teams.
• Dependability, flexibility, and commitment to excellent patient care.
• Willingness to travel between all assigned clinic locations.

Nice To Haves

• Previous EMS, emergency medicine, urgent care, or related clinical experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Obtain and document vital signs.
• Perform EKGs, venipuncture, specimen collection, and routine laboratory testing.
• Administer medications and IV therapy within the scope of practice.
• Assist with wound care and minor procedures.
• Help maintain patient flow.
• Complete accurate documentation.
• Support daily clinic operations to provide quality care at each location.
• Provide clinical coverage across the Midwest City, Moore, and Choctaw clinics as staffing and coverage needs require.
