About The Position
EyeCare Partners is seeking an Optometrist to join Precision Vision in the Oklahoma City area. Precision Vision has served the greater Oklahoma City metro and surrounding communities since 1981, providing comprehensive and surgical eye care. Its team uses current techniques and equipment to prescribe glasses and contact lenses and diagnose vision-threatening conditions. The Optometrist will practice full-scope optometry between two locations, providing medical eye exams and routine vision care. The role includes diagnosing, treating, and managing ocular disorders; providing post-operative care in collaboration with ophthalmologists; and interpreting results from ancillary testing equipment.
Responsibilities
- Practice full-scope optometry between two locations.
- Perform medical eye exams.
- Diagnose, treat, and manage ocular disorders, including dry eyes, Meibomian gland dysfunction, and glaucoma.
- Provide post-operative care for cataract, oculoplastic, LASIK, and MIGS surgeries in collaboration with ophthalmologists.
- Provide comprehensive vision exams, including refractions, contact lens examinations, fitting, and follow-up.
- Interpret results of ancillary testing, including Octopus and Humphrey visual fields, Optovue and Cirrus OCT, Optos, LipiView, TearLab, and iTrace.
