About The Position

Join a premier emergency and specialty veterinary hospital in Oklahoma City as an Emergency Veterinarian (DVM/VMD). The role offers the opportunity to practice advanced medicine in a collaborative, fast-paced setting alongside experienced emergency and critical care veterinarians and specialists. The hospital handles a diverse caseload that includes emergency, critical care, exotics, and general practice, and provides advanced diagnostics, modern medical equipment, mentorship, and opportunities to develop emergency and critical care skills. Experienced emergency clinicians and veterinarians transitioning into emergency medicine are encouraged to apply. The hospital also has a research-focused environment, with participation in published veterinary studies, including snakebite research with the University of Tennessee and cancer research with Oklahoma State University. As part of Innovetive Petcare, the veterinarian can access professional development, clinical mentorship, and collaboration with specialists across the network. Compensation is competitive and ProSal-based, with no negative accrual. The package includes up to a $50,000 sign-on bonus for experienced emergency veterinarians and relocation assistance. The position is in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

Requirements

Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or Veterinary Medical Doctor (VMD) degree.
Active veterinary license in Oklahoma, or ability to become licensed.
Excellent communication and client education skills.
Strong clinical judgment and medical decision-making abilities.
Commitment to teamwork and exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities
