About The Position
The EMS Programs Instructor has primary responsibility for classroom/lab education of the Paramedic students, maintenance of accreditation status, recruitment and selection of students. This position is located in Vermont at 40 IDX Drive in South Burlington.
Requirements
- Current Practicing as a Paramedic
- Current certifications in CPR, ACLS and PALS
- Compliant with all federal, state and local regulations, including certification and licensing requirements as required by the discipline
- Must have a valid driver’s license
Nice To Haves
- Instructor status in CPR, ACLS and PALS
- Associates, Bachelors, or Masters Degrees
- National Registry EMT/Paramedic Certification
- Additional instructor certifications ie: Pre-Hospital Trauma Life Support (PHTLS), Advanced Medical Life Support (AMLS), Emergency Pediatric Care (EPC), Geriatric Emergencies for EMS (GEMS), EMS Safety, etc
- Minimum 2 years field experience as EMT/Paramedic with supervisory experience
- Experience in a training or educational setting
